Sundays
Family Communion
Our family worship service is held at 10am every Sunday.
Every service consists of a welcome, a talk, singing of Christian hymns, some prayer time, and Holy Communion, where we take bread and wine as a symbol of Jesus' love for each one of us.
We have a dedicated space for children and young people, who enjoy their own time together before coming to join us for Communion mid-way through the service.
The length of the service is as short as an hour, and a max of 75 minutes if we have a lot of birthdays to celebrate, or the hymns that week have a lot of verses.
You'll find parking on side streets, or there's a paid car park behind Sainsbury's that's only a short walk away.
Children and young people
We are a small church community on a Sunday morning, and yet a quarter of our church is under the age of 16 - which is astonishing and wonderful in equal measure!
We know it's often tricky to bring your children (or yourselves!) to church so we try to make it as easy as possible. Our Sunday morning service at 10am offers an interactive Children’s Church community that’s full of fun, crafts, games, laughs and Bible chat for children and young people aged 5-16. There are also lots of opportunities to get stuck into the life of the church. We have some young people in our choir, and there’s always room for more. We enjoy special times of celebration around Christmas and Easter in particular.
Upper Room evening service
Our Upper Room evening service is a relaxed, contemporary service where we seek to encounter the God who loves us through a deep dive into worship and the Bible. Since we started the Upper Room in March 2026, we’ve heard beautiful stories of God being gently and powerfully at work in people’s lives... ‘I have found an oasis’, a ‘watering hole’… ‘it was the re-set we needed’… ‘I’ve grown up with a faith in God but it hasn’t felt real for months, but last Sunday, I felt closer to God than I’ve felt in a long time.’…
The Upper Room gathers every Sunday at 6pm for prayer and worship as we seek the renewing and healing presence of God. Refreshments of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and sweet treats are available from 5.30pm.
Celtic Healing Service
Once a month, on the first Sunday, we hold a Celtic healing service at 3.30pm. This is a pared back, reflective time where we light a candle, pray, and listen to a brief talk or share testimonies. You will have the opportunity to be anointed with healing oil. It's all very discreet so you can say 'yes' or 'no' to this as you feel comfortable.
