Who we are
Clergy
Lorraine
Lorraine leads our church. She is married to Vern and they have three children, two cats and a dog. She enjoys paddleboarding, cycling, gym classes, reading and jigsaws.
Church warden
Julie
Julie is one of our churchwardens which means she makes a lot of things come together behind the scenes, and she is responsible, together with Dave, for guiding the implementation of the vision, strategy, mission and ministry of St Andrew’s Boscombe, ably assisted by the PCC.
Church warden and safeguarding lead
Dave
Dave is one of our churchwardens, together with Julie, and he guides the implementation of the mission and ministry of our church. He’s also our Safeguarding Lead. Please see our safeguarding page for more info on Safeguarding.
Children's church leader
Anne
Anne leads our Children’s Church, which meets during our 10am service in their own dedicated space. She is super creative and passionate about helping our young people to grow in their faith, through arts and crafts, games, puzzles and Bible chat.
Choir director
Sue
Sue leads our choir(which practises on a Friday evening), and she is always keen to hear from anyone who might like to join. Sue is one of our talented organists (along with Tom), and she often plays the piano at the monthly healing service. Sue regards it as a privilege and honour to play the organ for weddings and funerals.
Upper Room worship leader
Dan
Dan leads worship at our contemporary evening service as a guitarist/vocalist. He is keen to grow the worship team, and would love to be joined by another worship leader - so if you think you might be the answer to this prayer, please get in touch.
